For over 40 years, Diasorin has been on a mission on five continents to develop, produce and commercialize diagnostic tests for a wide range of clinical areas. Our tests are designed for hospitals and private testing laboratories, in the markets of immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics.
Main Responsibilities
Your Contributions
As our Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating applicable regulations and the Group standards, determining applicability to company operations. Implementation of procedures and policies to result in conformance with environmental, health and safety and dangerous goods regulations, and the protection of employees and the environment and the Group Standards. Assure health, safety and environmental concepts are considered into business, operations planning and decision-making processes.
Supports applicable regulations including ISO, Local, State, and/or Federal requirements.

Qualifications:
B.S. in environmental, occupational health and safety or related science field such as biology, chemistry or engineering. 5+ years related experience managing an EHS program in a manufacturing setting to include development and implementation of environmental health and occupational safety programs designed to meet and exceed applicable regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of environmental, occupational health and safety, and dangerous goods regulations at local, state and federal levels (OSHA, EPA, DOT/IATA, CDC, GHS).
Ability to apply regulatory requirements and good practices within a manufacturing setting.
Proficient in using a computer, and working with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse employee population and all organizational levels.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills, including the ability to sort out essential versus non-essential variable.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
Ability to manage projects with moderate supervision, including good planning, time management and organizational skills.
Technical Competencies
Ability to connect with leadership using your quality written and verbal communication skills
You have at least an Bachelor's Degree or higher
Demonstrates great organizational skills
Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
