Position Overview

The Escrow Administration Specialist is responsible for the payment of taxes, hazard/flood insurance premiums and mortgage insurance premiums. Additionally this employee will process insurance loss draft files, mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, escrow account cancellations and borrower escrow analysis inquiries.

  • Answer and address inbound escrow calls and HEAT tickets from borrowers in a professional manner
  • Process tax and insurance payments, utilizing third party vendor services
  • Process insurance loss draft files
  • Process mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, adhering to CFPB and investor guidelines
  • Process escrow cancellations requests, adhering to investor guidelines
  • Document borrower interactions and capture updated loan information within the core system
  • Assist the department supervisor and team lead with the annual review of escrow analysis statements
  • Provide quality customer service to all borrowers
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures

  • Minimum two years experience working in an escrow administration environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, adhere to strict timelines and provide attention to detail.
  • Experience working with 3 rd party tax and insurance vendors preferred. FIS IBS system experience a plus
