SUMMARY
\n
Primarily responsible for leading and communicating all Marketing topics to the field organization. Helps to ensure that Subaru of America (SOA) Marketing strategies, programs, platforms, and initiatives are successfully communicated to the SOA Field, resulting in strong execution. Serves as a critical communication liaison for SOA executives, SOA marketing department, SOA Field leadership, field marketing, and retailers. Serves as the day-to-day contact and business lead for the Subaru Advertising Fund (SAF), the Event Management Tool (EMC), and Ansira (marketing agency). The expected tenure in role is 2+ years.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and provides Subaru of America (SOA) Marketing Communications and reporting to SOA executives, Subaru Field team, and retailers. Organizes and leads SOA Marketing's results in twice-monthly executive meetings.

  • Manages and leads monthly Field Marketing managers calls, as well as in-person Field Marketing manager meetings. This includes event planning management and establishing and maintaining attendee list. Represents SOA Marketing on the Sales month-end call.

  • Serves as the day-to-day Love Promise Community Commitment national program activation and award contact for SOA Field marketing team to provide clarity on the program in a timely and accurate manner. Partners with Field Marketing Manager to address opportunities for collaboration and program enhancement based on feedback from SOA Field.

  • Facilitates a two-way dialogue between SOA Marketing, field, and retailers - formally, informally, and in-person, including frequent calls with stakeholders, with the goal of ensuring synergy between consumer-facing Marketing strategies, initiatives, platforms, communications, programs, and events. Ensures that feedback and requests from SOA Field and retailers are addressed and executed and that the appropriate SOA stakeholders are included. Organizes field meetings and calls on behalf of SOA Marketing Managers.

  • Plans, edits, and writes content for SOA Field and Retailers. Responds to feedback on SOA Marketing initiatives and shares and adjusts communications accordingly.

  • Partners with the Love Promise Community Commitment Managers on field training and coordinating dealer enrollment for all Love Promise national activations and Share the Love. Maintains responsibility for enrollment, retailer announcements/documents, retailer best practices toolkit, and field/retailer troubleshooting. Provides recaps of retailer support for brand campaigns around areas of retailer promotion, engagement, and merchandising. Collects and shares retailer best practices. Serves as primary contact for the Ansira (marketing agency) relationship as it pertains to Love Promise enrollment, recaps, and Share the Love enrollment, including setting practices, providing direction, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables; works with Field Marketing Manager as needed for escalated concerns.

  • Partners with numerous internal and external stakeholders (including SOA Advertising, Digital Marketing, Marketing Development, and field teams, as well as external vendors and creative partners) on the development and implementation of the retailer merchandising and promotion strategy. Develops repository for custom retailer data by collaborating with Subaru IT and vendor partners to build this database; acts as project manager to define objectives, oversee timelines, and take accountability for deliverables.

  • Love Promise Retailer Recognition: Manages Love Promise retailer recognition opportunities, such as Love Promise Monthly Story winners, Love Promise Community Commitment Award, PR opportunities, social media opportunities, and national media opportunities. Maintains examples and shares retailer best practices for engagement, promotion, and merchandising for internal partners and projects in the organization.

  • Serves as day-to-day Manager of the Event Management Tool (EMC).

  • Sources and organizes content from a variety of stakeholders for SOA Marketing and presents at Regional Vice President and Zone Director meetings.
  • \n
  • Sources and organizes marketing content from a variety of stakeholders for National Retailer Advisory Board (NRAB) meetings and NRAB Marketing Subcommittee.

  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word).

  • Recent Subaru of America (SOA) Zone Retailer Marketing Manager or District Sales Manager experience is required. Love Promise activation experience is required.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 30-40%
\n
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-year college degree and 8-10 years' experience.

JOB GRADE: M1
\n
SALARY RANGE: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $86,700 - $123,800. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
