Bose has an opportunity for a Field Performance Data Analyst in the Global Quality organization in Framingham Massachusetts.

The Field Performance Data Analyst position plays a critical role in our cross functional team environment. This role works closely with our partners in HW & SW Engineering, Global Sales, Customer Strategy & Insights, and Reverse Logistics to quickly turn the data into actionable insights. In this position, the Field Performance Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing product and experience data sets to identify opportunities to improve our offerings to our customers.

This role will also collaborate with our AI & Data organization to inform data governance, tools, and application requirements for our core business use cases.

  • Field Quality Data Analytics:
    • Directly responsible for the identification, sizing of product field quality issues by connecting the dots across multiple data sets.
    • Translate customer data and reporting needs into functioning KPIs and user dashboards.
    • Collaborate with the larger Bose analytics team to identify, define and test analytics capability enhancements as needed.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Aid in the deployment of strategic initiatives across Global Quality and the larger analytics community at Bose
    • Responsible for performing independent work of a non-routine nature on simultaneous projects.

  • Successful candidate must have:
    • 4 year degree (BA or BS) or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years related work experience
    • Experience translating data into actionable insights leveraging common reporting tools (SQL, Power Bi, Tableau, etc...)
    • Working knowledge of business data collection systems and processes (Contacts, Repair, Manufacturing)
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-motivated
    • Able to handle complex tasks and assignments along with demonstrated ability to lead team initiatives
  • Considered a strong plus:
    • Experience with Snowflake Data Platform
    • Working knowledge of 8D Problem Solving, Six Sigma and Lean Principles
