Sets up, adjusts and operates complex test equipment to determine nature of problem, and replaces parts, components, modules, circuit boards or performs adjustments as necessary. Recommends modifications of equipment and provides instruction for installation. Utilizes specialized and standardized computer equipment to assess and resolve complex issues. Acts as lead and provides coaching to lower level Field Service Technicians. Performs a wide variety of highly technical and complex duties to install, troubleshoot, service and repair complex and sophisticated products at the customer location. Sets up, adjusts and operates complex test equipment to determine nature of problem, and replaces parts, components, modules, circuit boards or performs adjustments as necessary. Recommends modifications of equipment and provides instruction for installation. Utilizes specialized and standardized computer equipment to assess and resolve complex issues. Acts as lead and provides coaching to lower level Field Service Technicians.Requires completion of a 2 year technical degree program plus 7 or more years of experience.
