Responsible for enhancing growth for True Value's key growth partners in the Southeast Region. The territory includes Atlanta and Charlotte. Cultivates key executive contacts within accounts to create strong business relationships. Responsible for account profitability and growth with a concentration on handled purchases and new locations. In conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, effectively develop business growth strategies and plans; develop options and solutions unique to each business to drive business performance and growth.

Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).

1.Serve as the principal liaison between the customers store/field management team and True Value to build and enhance our business relationship. Recognize and rapidly respond to customer needs and competitor activities. Resolve problems, expedite solutions, and communicate relevant information as it pertains to Logistics, IT, Merchandising and Retail Operations.

2. Work with the Strategic Account Manager and customer's store/field team to develop business strategies to improve profitability for the customer and True Value. Identify and convert sales opportunities from other suppliers (SOW). Recommend product assortments, specials and buy opportunities by partnering with customers buyers. Work closely with True Value Merchant Team to offer assortments focused on specific customer needs. Develop and analyze product mix and POS data, understand market trends, manage forecasting, and make effective presentations to customers.

3. Leads the retail implementation store project as the timeline dictates, including development of onsite project implementation plan, oversee fixture installation, assist retailer in placing additional fixture orders as required, schedule OSO deliveries, direct merchandise placement ensuring planogram integrity, provide direction on interior decor installation, assist retailer in placing fill-in orders, and manage the merchandiser budget.

4. Coordinate and participate in customers shows and event including communication, planning, and follow-up with vendors.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

1-3 years of experience, preferably in Communication, Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Retail and/or Wholesale.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements: Seeing, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Talking, Typing, Visual Acuity, Walking

Work Environment: Generally, works in climate-controlled office/store environment.

Travel: 50% or more travel to stores within assigned territory and at times to the corporate office. Travel typically by car or plane.
