JOB PURPOSE


SageNet is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to be part of the SageNet IT team. The SageNet IT teams is responsible for delivering technology and solutions to support both internal business operations and customer facing products and solutions. In this position, the Full-Stack Developer will focus on building and maintaining software to support SageNet clients and internal business teams. This person will work closely with the various SageNet technical teams to help design and enrich the infrastructure and applications that support customers and business operations. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, a quick learner, and willing to develop new skills, while constantly improving existing abilities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Participate in requirements gathering and documentation efforts.

  • Design and build solutions to perform data parsing and normalization.

  • Design and build systems for parallel distributed data processing.

  • Develop and support on-prem and cloud-based software architectures

  • Develop high quality code in an automated CI/CD environment

  • Build and interface with both SQL and Document based data repositories.

  • Design and build software solutions to tap into various data sources to perform analysis.

  • Help provide guidance and direction on current and future enterprise architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 2+ years of professional experience designing and building Python, .Net, and/or Java applications preferred but willing to consider educational experience

  • Ability to use test-driven development approaches

  • Understanding of MVC and Event Driven Systems architecture

  • Ability to develop secure REST APIs using cloud providers

  • Comfortable leveraging GIT version control and CI/CD technologies for an agile development process

NICE TO HAVE


  • Knowledge of building applications for multi-tenant and/or SaaS solutions

  • Experience with Elasticsearch

  • Experience working with AWS technologies such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, Cognito, API Gateway, etc

  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Node.js, Django, React, Angular, etc
