Intercon Engineering is seeking experienced tradespeople to join our SMP workshop and project teams. We have ongoing work and are building a pool of skilled people we can call on as projects come online.

Work alongside an experienced, well-equipped SMP team
Trades AssistantExperience in the SMP / heavy fabrication workshop industry (highly regarded)
Forklift licence (advantageous)
MR or HR licence
Overhead crane / dogging ticket
Reliable, safety-focused and willing to support the trades on the tools
Pipe FitterMinimum 10 years' pipe fitting experience
Able to read and interpret complex piping drawings and isometrics
Confident working to spec in a fast-paced workshop environment
Pipe WelderCertified pipe welder (current qualifications required)
TIG and FCAW welding on pipe
Experience across carbon steel, stainless, duplex and super duplex
Able to produce high-quality welds to code
BoilermakerMinimum 10 years' experience
Able to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings
Strong fit-up, layout and structural fabrication skills
