Loomis US is seeking a graphic designer that will be responsible for creating visual content and graphics to support the objectives of the marketing manager, sales groups and other departments. A successful candidate will have experience creating marketing and advertising campaigns for print and web, an eye for detail and consistency, and an ability to manage projects in a timely and efficient manner.

This person will work as part of the marketing team based in Houston, TX and will report to the Marketing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work collaboratively with marketing team and sales teams to create graphics to support marketing campaigns and sales goals
  
• Provide new ideas for design, branding and content creation
  
• Create unique designs for presentations, print ads, case studies, social media posts, email campaigns and other marketing collateral
  
• Design and maintain online and print material to include brochures, news articles, website pages and online banner ads
  
• Produce and management distribution of marketing emails and enewsletters
  
• Support tradeshows and event marketing as needed
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  
• Two or more years of experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency (agency experience preferred)
  
• Portfolio is required. Preferred Portfolio Format: Online or a PDF that can be attached to application.
  
• Experience designing for the web and email
  

• Proficient in programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
• Experience with email marketing platforms, Salesforce and Acquia desired
  
• Effective oral and written communication skills
  
• Self-starter who is able to take the lead on projects with minimal supervision
  
• Motivation, positive attitude, and the ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism
  
• Sharp analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage to competing deadlines within a corporate environment
  
• Strong problem solving and creative concept skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
