Hadoop Developer

Experience: 5 + years

Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

5+ years designing, developing and implementing solutions in Hadoop environments

Previous experience as a Hadoop Developer or Big Data Engineer.

Advanced knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and its components.

In-depth knowledge of Hive, HBase, and Pig.

In depth knowledge ofMapReduce and Pig Latin Scripts.

Knowledge of back-end programming languages including JavaScript, Node.js, and OOAD.

Person must have good data analytical skill

Handson python programming.

Good knowledge andextensive experience inSQL.

Responsibilities

Designing and coding Hadoop applications to analyze data collections.

Creating data processing frameworks.

Implement and support various components of the Hadoop ecosystem

Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and performance

Ability to work with Senior Enterprise Architects to develop a Big Data platform

Work closely with infrastructure, network, database, business intelligence and application teams to ensure business applications are readily available and performing within agreed upon service levels

Capacity planning and estimating the requirements for lowering or increasing the capacity of the hadoop cluster

Manage and review Hadoop log files
