Kendal at Hanover has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Health Center Housekeeper. The successful candidate assists the housekeeping department and laundry by performing assigned housekeeping responsibilities, including scheduled apartments, Health Care, Guest House, Community Center and Laundry. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs all daily cleaning tasks in the Health Center and assists with other staff in providing good customer service to our residents as time allows.


• Cleans assigned areas by changing bed linen (bath days & room turn overs), cleans all plumbing fixtures, all counters, appliances, glass (to include mirrors), stove, wall surfaces, dusting high and low areas, including furniture, vacuuming, mopping floors and porch cleaning off from friendship dining room, stairwells, empties trash, and recycling. Cleans rooms as they turn over.


• Assists with serving meals on Whittier and Barclay.


• Assists in proper inventory by requesting needed supplies from Group Leader, U.A. Coordinator or Director of Environmental Services.


• Assists with cost control by using supplies according to directions and without waste


• Participates as an active team member in meeting the needs of ES department by demonstrating initiative by seeking out additional responsibilities to improve self.


• Keeps all equipment clean and in good repair.


• Promptly reports equipment needing repairs to Group Leader , U.A, Coordinator or Director of Environmental Services.

Hourly rate: $12.89 - $16.74/hour, depending on experience
