Position Description:
Assists the HR Manger in Benefits, Payroll, Staffing, Compensation, Policy Administration; Special Events; Other (Petty cash, Vending, Safety Glasses program, Steel Toed Shoe program, Tuition Reimbursement program, Headphones program, Lockers and any other programs assigned).
Provide collaboration and support of production manager, supervisors and leads.
Work with administrators and supervisors to fill vacant positions through direct hire and temporary employees including maintaining support records for temporary service invoicing. Ensure status for open requisitions in all recruitment databases are up to date.
Conduct new employee orientations, benefits enrollments and exit interviews as necessary.
Maintain a supply of new hire paperwork packets.
Process bi-weekly ADP payroll for approximately 140 employees; including checking timecards and preparing payroll spreadsheet, garnishment and labor hours reports; ensuring all timecards are signed off electronically in the ADP system.
Provide accurate weekly & monthly HR metrics to Plant & HR Manager.
Ensure the Training database is accurately maintained, and all employees are current with their required training. Including retention, scanning & processing of all training records.
Assist the HR Manager in maintaining safety throughout the plant through serving on the safety committee.
Manage various employee recognition and support programs: birthdays, service awards; employee appreciation and employee events.
Maintain personnel records in compliance with legal requirements and ensure all documents are filed in a timely manner.
Vendor Management (Vendor insurance verification using Exigis).
Accurately manage and maintain MSDS entries in a timely manner.
Assist with HR related duties for the EIP Business Unit as needed and as time permits.
Other duties as required.

Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred.
3-5 years human resource administrative assistant experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong time and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
A self-starter, with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic.
Environment with emotional intelligence.
Highly organized, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively across functional groups.
Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Payroll, Staffing, Records Management, Data Entry, Vendor Management, etc.
