If you are a sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in ourRound Rock, TXlocation, you willbe responsible for developing the Hybrid industry market and the management of an industry-focused team of Business Development Leaders in North America for our Process Systems & Solutions business group.

You will support Emerson Impact Partners by leading an industry-focused North America sales team, and driving profitable growth while positioning Emerson and Impact Partners in the market as the first choice for projects, consultancy, and lifecycle services.

ASA HYBRID INDUSTRY SALES MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Manage a Team of Business Development Leaders for the Hybrid Industries
    • Develop a team of Business Developers through professional goal setting, coaching; create development plans to improve both technical and business acumen.
    • Enable team to increase market participation, through Emerson Impact Partners, within strategic and developing accounts, identify opportunities to expand Emerson scope across business units, and own global contracts for North American-based customers.
    • Achieve growth and order targets by successfully managing the Business Development team.
  • Lead Specified Industry Growth Plans
  • Design and implement a strategic growth plan that expands Emersons customer base and ensure its strong presence in a specified industry
  • Collaborate with Emerson Impact Partners, global sales network, technology, and marketing on potential product/solution development to address key industry needs
  • Own key account plans and leads the development and qualification of opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Grow and manage industry funnel and report business metrics to Emerson leadership

Required Skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Degree in Engineering or technical field and 6+ years of experience
  • 8 years of relevant sales leadership, account management experience is preferred
  • 8 years of relevant industry experience preferred
  • Proven results in creating business growth and building effective relationships
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Process Automation industry
  • Fluent in English and preferably one other language is a plus
  • 35% travel
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • MBA preferred
  • Speak one other language than English is a plus
