This role will be responsible for providing risk analysis related to certain clients/jurisdictions as working with colleagues in Global FCC regarding reviews of complex, high-risk clients. You will also assist in providing end-to-end Financial Crime Program oversight for the US-based Capital Markets & Advisory unit, including the oversight of the onboarding of clients and investment banking deals, client lifecycle events as they relate to financial crime compliance, and the off-boarding or exit of certain client relationships. This will also include the credible review and challenge of issues relating to higher risk business situations and recommendation or advice to senior Compliance and Business management around risk mitigation. Additional responsibilities will include attending various US based and global controls forums, reviewing policies and procedures. Additional responsible, you will be for leading all aspects of reviews of third party vendors that may present material money laundering or terrorist financing related risk to the bank.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a seasoned financial crime advisory officer who is able to act independently an as part of a team with ability to communication optimally at all levels.
List of skills and experience encouraged in an applicant:

  • Financial Crime Compliance Officer and advising senior business management (7 years)
  • Strong subject matter expertise in AML, Sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption
  • Proven experience working at a large international financial institution preferred
  • Ability to handle complex issues in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to communication and analytical skills with the ability to influence others
