As our Project Manager, you will support industry-sponsored genomic research collaborations for theInstitute for Precision Health (IPH). You will be responsible for the management, coordination, andimplementation of Institute for Precision Health (IPH) projects, in alignment with the strategic goals of theprogram.

Your responsibilities will include the coordination and completion of assigned projects on time, withinbudget and scope. You will establish timelines, monitor and summarize progress, and develop status reportsfor management.

The Project Manager functions with a high level of independence in consultation with and under the guidance ofthe IPH Sr. Program Manager. You will serve as the liaison between the IPH leadership and theimplementation teams to ensure scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, status, change requests, and critical issuesare effectively implemented. You will also create project management processes specific to the IPH researchprograms and collect feedback on potential improvements and discuss information and opportunities with the IPH Senior Program Manager.

  • Bachelor's degree in
    biobehavioral sciences, public health or related industry strongly preferred
  • A Minimum of five years
    experience leading and managing projects.
  • Significant knowledge of
    project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project and Open
    Workbench), with solid track
    record of practical application.
  • Understanding of the Project
    Management Institute (PMI) framework
  • Knowledge of various project
    management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
  • Excellent communication,
    interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and
    time management skills
  • Ability to establish and
    maintain cooperative working relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Ability to establish
    priorities, meet set deadlines, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to function
    efficiently and independently, and make important decisions under pressure
  • PMP certification preferred
