Position
Summary:

The intern
will provide general assistance and support to various members of the Finance
department including filing, data input, routing invoices for approval and
assisting with reconciliations and other areas as directed by the Senior
Director, Accounting.

Responsibilities
and Duties:

• Support
  accounts payable team through data input and mailing checks.
• Monitor
  accounts payable email and route invoices for approval.
• Follow up on
  vendor invoice approvals not received.
• General
  filing and clean up of records retention area.
• Assist with
  locating and scanning requests for audit support.
• Organize and
  bind paper support from monthly close.
• Backfill
  teams labor-intensive activities during peak periods or PTO.
• Assist
  Accounting Specialists with reconciliations.
• Various ad
  hoc analysis projects as needed.

Educational
Requirements:

• In
  undergraduate program (eg finance, accounting, economics etc) and completed at
  least sophomore year.

Experience:

• Previous
  office work experience preferable but not required.
• Other Skills

  quality oriented.
• Natural
  curiosity to learn and use IT systems
• A positive
  attitude, flexibility and a proactive thought process.
• Excellent
  English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to

• Proficient
  with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Office programs.
• Comfortable
  with learning other IT systems.
