The Medical
Affairs Intern will provide assistance and support the Medical Affairs team
members on assigned projects in Medical Information, Strategic Scientific
Communications, and Strategic Planning.

and Duties:

Strategic Planning:

  • Work with
    project management team to understand how departmental budgets are created and
  • Attend
    meetings and support team in development of medical affairs plans for marketed
    and pipeline products.


  • Assist in
    data analyses and metric reporting.
  • Support
    development of medical information materials for Call Center.
  • Participate
    in development of scientific booth materials for global congresses.


  • Work with
    team on development of training materials.

Initiated Trials (IIT):

  • Support IIT
    Review Committee coordinator in processing ITTs for review and documentation of
    meeting minutes.

Final Presentation:

  • Prepare a
    presentation to provide an overview of assigned projects, key achievements,
    lessons learned, and suggestions to optimize intern program.


  • Must be
    currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and completed at least sophomore
    year with a major in pharmacy, nursing, or related scientific discipline.
  • Maintaining
    a 3.0 GPA or better.
