  • Understanding of Financial industry and investment products, as well as an understanding of Investment Accounting and related calculations. (RKS / PAM application knowledge preferred)
  • Experience working in an Agile development team (Scrum Master experience preferred). Ability to work with a team and independently.
  • Work with RKS product owner to review business requirements and documentation to fully understand completeness and adequacy for the design process and how to add functionality to the RKS application. This requires an understanding of the underlying RKS tables and process flow. Ability to query data using SQL tool. Understanding of technology used by RKS application.
  • Using documented business requirements and architectural guidelines, produce Agile Design Document that is clear and can be understood by developers and business. This document details the implementation of new or improved functionality with the most efficient system implementation and minimal risk to existing codebase and system performance. Maintain client satisfaction through high product usability and quality. This document is used for Agile story breakouts, business user acceptance, and release notes/reference.
  • Review test plans written by QA project testers to ensure the project is understood and functional areas are covered. Provide input on how to fix defects found during project testing, UAT testing, and after release to client
  • Provide estimations for projects (relative size and detailed estimates) and maintain control of the estimate during development.
  • Facilitate communication upward and across the various members of the development team. Provide feedback in the form of comments, suggestions and experiences to help improve development process in term of efficiency, accuracy and on time delivery.
  • Support the RKS application as functional expert on reported issues and questions
  • All mandatory training completed and understood within given timeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or software engineering; advanced degree desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in portfolio management, accounting, or operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years technical experience in financial software development environment/managing software development projects. Experience in Agile environment preferred.
  • Experience on RKS application a plus.
  • Effective organizational, decision making, and communication skills.
