What you will do
The IT Director, ERP Data Management reports to the Executive Director, IT ERP Transformation. The position is responsible for end-to-end Data Management for ERP transformation programs and ERP solutions.
How you will do it
Responsible for building and maintaining a high performing data team with the skills and capabilities needed to support global ERP solutions, transformation programs and data centric projects
Define and implement IT ERP transformation data strategy, policies, common standards , controls and methodology
Define and implement Technology stack for enabling flawless data migration to ERP Projects
Manage the ERP transformations data program with quality measures towards ensuring data integrity
Implement IT governance to ensure data integrity, data quality, data standards, and change management of data across multiple groups/business functions and systems in collaboration with business data leads and process owners
Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the organization in IT solution and business teams to develop, launch, refine, and scale Master Data programs and activities
Define, develop, and measure data quality analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Present status reporting to key stakeholders. Report on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, test and development management activities, ensuring accurate and reliable communication, including performance issues, to internal stakeholders
Drive and collaborate with business for continuous improvement activities to instill a data quality discipline and stewardship amongst all data owners
Facilitate Master Data Management improvement across business functions
Manage deployment data play book and guidelines to enable standardization across deployments
Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how the solution will address requirements, while maintaining alignment with best practices
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities in data stream
Manage the data quality assurance requirements during project execution and collaborate for audit ready practices and documentation
Support PMO to prepare cost and schedule estimate(s) and develop project plans for all phases of the data migration in projects
What we look for
Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or business specific field
Must have led Data Migration in 2-3 large ERP implementation projects successfully
Minimum 4 to 5 ERP implementations in SAP in manufacturing , finance and supply chain
Experience in establishing Data Management track for SAP S4 for a medium to large organizations roadmap in a leadership position
15+ years of data management and / or ERP Implementation experience
Experience with a cloud-based ERP deployment and project methodologies
Strong functional and technical knowledge in ERPs and SAP S4
Strong business acumen, with experience driving significant organizational, process and systems improvements in a Master Data Management environment
Creative and analytical skillsin a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Be proactive, forward thinking and analytical
Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational influence, and the ability to manage portfolio of ERP deployments and timelines
Maintain a high level of organization, commitment to follow through, enthusiasm and motivation
Ability to think strategically and broadly about the business while also fully understanding the details, workflows, systems, and near-term issues
Take ownership and responsibility for actions, behaviors, and contributions
Ability to build alignment cross-functionally and influence up to senior leadership
Previous experience in leading small planning teams, with proven record of people development and earned followership within a high change environment
Ability to bring lessons learned and best implementation practices from ERP implementations.
Ability to communicate and present to Steering Committees, Directors, Project Sponsors and Strategic partners
Excellent writing, organizational, time-management and planning skills
