Job Summary

IT Training & Curriculum Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development and delivery of both procedural documentation of APGs ERP platform and related business-facing applications

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design & develop role based courses & curriculum across multiple delivery mediums (eg. virtual learning video, mobile learning, onsite / classroom) attaining appropriate level of expertise on assigned topics, delivering information effectively, and ensuring all established goals and objectives related to training and development are completed successfully
    • Partner with Quality Assurance, Business Process Leaders, SMEs and Training team to provide up to date, relevant and engaging training and documentation to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
    • Build of Training Curriculum assignments by job function
    • Business transformation to required completion of online training prior to role release for new hires
    • Establishing materials that demonstrate a reduction of service desk tickets and/or time to resolution
    • Translate complex topics into clear and concise steps
    • Work with functional groups to plan and develop curriculum schedule
    • Establish and enforce training curriculum structure and standards
    • Ensure all materials and procedural documentation are prepared and delivered in a timely manner prior to training event
    • Update and maintain all training documentation, support the Knowledge Base (KB) site for updates, changes and document management and retention
    • Oversee Document Change Control process to ensure smooth implementation of new processes, ensuring team is trained and QA is engaged
    • Interface with service desk lead to identify on an ongoing basis potential course or knowledge gaps and /or needs, process improvements and ways to optimize workflows
    • Work with third parties to ensure all training documentation is translated to all necessary languages
    • Continually release and assign course work based on new releases according to role
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
    • 5-7 years experience in instructional design, including training task analysis, writing objectives, curriculum and lesson planning/design, implementation, and evaluation
    • 3-5 years experience in detailed procedural writing, document management and record retention
    • 1-3 years experience in integrated supply chain processes eg. Plan to Inventory, Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash etc
    • Previous experience with LMS (Learning Management System) a plus
    • Content authoring skills in INFOR UAP, Articulate Rise, Evolve, Captivate, or similar is a plus
    • Self-starter with proven abilities in organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solving
    • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required
    • Customer focus with proven ability to establish productive working relationships across international sites and cultures
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and One Note
