Responsibilities:

The Overwatch team is looking for an enthusiastic Jira Administrator to join our group of passionate, talented developers. As a Jira Administrator, you'll work directly with directors, producers, and content creators on managing and maintaining Jira. This includes system administration, monitoring to identify areas for improvement, managing report requests, data hygiene, workflows, and screen layouts.

You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Jira environments in collaboration with various disciplines across the organization to improve the performance and stability of our Atlassian stack. You'll also provide communications and training about Jira usage and best practices as we continue to evolve our team.

• Administrate all Atlassian products the Overwatch 2 team uses
• Coordinate with enterprise-wide Jira and Confluence support teams
• Iterate and improve Jira native functionality: reports, issue workflows, screen layouts, etc.
• Evaluate, test, and implement new versions and add-ons/plug-ins
• Provide support and advanced troubleshooting for the game team
• Balance request queue SLAs alongside contributions to longer-term projects
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions consistent with industry leading practices
• Creates custom projects with sophisticated workflows, reports, permission schemes, etc. to meet specific needs
• Be a trusted escalation point for our team
  

• Experience in performing Jira Confluence installations, migrations, and add-on installation
• 2+ years of experience in Groovy, Javascript, or related scripting language
• Extensive knowledge of administering Atlassian applications (Cloud and/or Data Center)
• Ability to drive clean, understandable dashboards and reports
• Understanding of system administration principles (Monitoring, Network, Storage, Scripting)
• Solid understanding of Program Management methodologies to partner on game team achievements
• Integration experience with other Atlassian applications (FishEye, BitBucket...)
• Familiar with HTML and CSS
• Atlassian certification
  

• Ability to prioritize across various tasks and handle changes in daily workload
• Desire to work in a diverse environment, interacting with many roles and teams made up of passionate industry veterans working toward a common goal
  

• Experience working with Product Design groups
• Video game industry experience
• Passion for Blizzard games

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
