The Private School Registrar Level 2 provides school operations support and expertise for both internal and external customers with an emphasis on records management, including review, placement, collection, and distribution. The Registrar is also responsible for end of semester grade approvals and ensuring students satisfy graduation and grade completion requirements for Learning Solutions Schools.



Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.



  • Review transcripts for incoming full-time high school students and suggest course placement based on established course progression plan per grade level

  • Create and maintain graduation plans for full time high school students as they proceed through their high school diploma.

  • Support registrar requests related to course availability and enrollment changes across all supported platforms

  • Create, maintain, and distribute student records in accordance with School Operations process and deadlines

  • Provide troubleshooting and solutions in a timely manner to routine customer issues, requests, and problems.

  • Adapt to changes in existing procedures as needed to meet operational goals or organizational requirements

  • Contribute to the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all student records per policy

  • Adheres to organizations best practices and solutions to ensure operational efficiency and optimal customer experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:



This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.



Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree AND

  • Three years of relevant work experience OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required Notary Preferred to meet International requests



Other Required Qualifications:



  • Flexibility in working hours to include increased volume supporting start and end of school terms

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.

  • High level of attention to detail with focus on quality while working in a high-volume environment

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively independently as well as collaboratively

  • Team player with positive, flexible attitude, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with strong conflict and problem resolution skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to manage and deliver on competing priorities

  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to solve problems

  • Ability to communicate customer friendly messaging as needed via email or telephone.

  • Ability to pass required background check

Desired Qualifications:



  • Prior K12 experience is highly desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g., database and web-based tools)

  • Experience using student information systems, learning management systems, and other types of databases

  • Knowledge of general student progression plans and credit requirements

  • Bi-lingual

  • Prior experience providing exceptional customer support

  • Prior registrar experience a plus
