The incumbent will be integral to maintaining the laboratory research program and will work under the direct supervision of a senior lab researcher. General laboratory and organizational skills including the ability to work independently and efficiently are essential, as are excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
The incumbent will be expected to organize and maintain stocks of experimental reagents and materials, and also keep detailed records of wet-bench procedures.
Techniques that will be used regularly include, but are not limited to:
A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field is preferred, and demonstrated research experience is required. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
