Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Design, the Lead Manager for Insights & Analytics will be responsible for the development and adoption of the digital insights strategy supporting the Intermediary (EMEA & APAC), Institutional and Corporate websites.

Responsible for the delivery, maintenance and maturity of the usage and adoption of data analytics, they will drive the usage of the data and implement defined processes to provision insights, generate reporting and the distribution of data insights. They will support the enablement of data-driven decision making across the design, product owner and stakeholder teams for the Intermediary (EMEA & APAC), Institutional and Corporate websites. Working in partnership with the delivery teams to identify new capability opportunities, experience optimization opportunities and value measurement of the live digital client experiences.

They will adopt and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration across the teams, and will proactively advocate for the use of data, and regularly communicate to senior stakeholders the data driven insights from across the global digital experiences.

In partnership with the DME Centre of Excellence team, they will act as an internal expert and lead the change needed to drive the adoption of data driven strategies. Ensuring that data driven insights are embedded into the design and delivery operating processes, to the extent needed to ensure a high degree of operational maturity in this space across the team.

Managing a small team of analytics practitioners, they will provide training support and the direction needed to ensure best practices are adopted across the team. They will work in partnership with the Distribution Marketing Enablement (DME) CoE teams to support the continued build out of a global hub and spoke community of practice operating model, to continuously inform, monitor and establish the adoption of defined best practices within the team, whilst continuing to leverage the expertise and toolsets established by the DME CoE team.

Working with the Global Design leadership team, they will help drive the overall design and data driven maturity of our organization. With a passion for insights and user centered design they will advocate for and drive the consistent use of data across the team, and elevate the teams standard practices in consistently delivering best in class client experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the overall digital insights and analytics strategy for the Intermediary (EMEA & APAC), Institutional and Corporate websites

  • Accountable for the adoption of best practice processes defined by the DME CoE to support data distribution and analytical decision making.

  • Serves as a leader monitoring and maturing the design, product owner and digital delivery teams adoption of insights and data driven decision making.

  • Manages and covers stakeholder relationships to deliver the data insights and analytics capability and requirements - articulates strategy, services, service level agreements with clarity and transparency, utilizing demand management best practices

  • Ensures that all facets of the digital delivery teams for the Intermediary (EMEA & APAC), Institutional and Corporate websites, understand and leverage the teams analytical capabilities and best practices for customer intelligence, value measurement and opportunity client experience opportunity identification

  • Uses expertise and fosters a consultative and collaborative relationship with department leaders to identify, evaluate and recommend current and potential projects or opportunities to guide the fulfillment of the firms data requirements.

  • Serves as a centralized resource to the Intermediary (EMEA & APAC), Institutional and Corporate website teams and expert regarding analytics methodologies processes, toolkits and platforms.

  • Utilizes knowledge and experience to research customer trends and networks with internal and external contacts and advisory groups to develop and/or adapt innovative data and analytics concepts and best practices in alignment with TRP & the EMEA, APAC and Americas organisation goals and objectives.

  • Develops business cases for data and analytics initiatives or tools, prioritizing needs as appropriate.

  • Collaborates with business to seed ideas, share knowledge and tools and to provide analytical infrastructure guidance and recommendations.

  • Leads and manages a small team of digital analytics and business intelligence managers. Managing all expertise relating to data management, business analysis, demand management, data engineering, data architecture, data blending/development and data science/analytics.

  • Serve as a thought leader and owner of larger-scale analytical infrastructure initiatives, owning technology implementations and analytical implementation strategies.

  • Position will be called upon to lead large scale, highly visible initiatives and projects through leadership of a cross-functional team, ensuring products meet and/or exceed standards for business performance, client satisfaction, operational efficiency by closely monitoring, analyzing and interpreting the metrics to assess the performance of products against KPIs

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Hands on experience in the analysis of website usage analytics, and ability to derive actionable insights from the data, within an agile digital delivery practice

  • 8+ years experience of working in partnership with website design or product development teams in the specialist field of analytics

  • 3+ years experience in managing website analytics teams

  • Experience of working to deliver new services and processes within a global organization Previously lead a team of data analytics and insights practitioners ideally across a global footprint

  • An analytical thinker and highly organized in managing a teams work, capacity and priorities

  • Experience in leading insights and analytics practitioner teams and a successful track record of coaching and upskilling teams

  • Experience in a number of areas of data related specialisms including data management, business analysis, demand management, data engineering, data architecture, data blending/development and data science/analytics

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with hands-on, roll up your sleeves can-do attitude.

  • Data-driven user center design approach to product development and management, with demonstrated ability to own products that balance and anticipate various users needs

  • Ability to work in an agile product development environment and leading / collaborating with a variety of internal partners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to deliver executive level presentations that communicate the insights and analytics teams strategy, and client behavior insights for multiple lines of business across the organization.

  • Highly collaborative and the ability to drive and inspire cross-functional teams to the digital experience opportunities that come from a deep set of quantitative data and insights
