Summary

Talent Development and Learning is fundamental to the success of the organization. The goal of talent development is to understand the business needs through HRBP partnerships, deep dive analysis and critical needs assessment in order to recommend, develop, manage and deploy the proper talent development solution to the organization. The Learning & Talent Development Partner will support talent development across multiple functions from frontline teammates through leadership positions. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment and has a passion for collaborating with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver impactful talent development solutions. The Learning & Talent Development Partner will be skilled in driving business transformations, designing Talent Development practices, is strong in influencing and mentoring others and builds strong relationships with leaders and employees. We need a Talent Development thought leader who can balance the need to be a strategic, data driven business partner along with a roll up your sleeves attitude.

Core Responsibilities

Relationship Management:

  • Consult and partner with O&M HR Business partners, respective client groups and Talent Center of Excellence
  • Recommend and implement learning and talent development solutions in partnership with the HR Business Partner and Talent Center of Excellence

Program/Project Management:

  • Lead or Partner on Learning/Talent initiatives, projects, programs and process improvements, promoting consistency in application across business units and geographic location. Specific programs include Compliance, Leadership Development, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and Onboarding.
  • Provide day to day management as required of assigned projects to ensure objectives are met within the negotiated timeframe and set out in project charters
  • Determine process of risk assessment and communication risk mitigation actions
  • Develop effective project plans to facilitate the development of learning programs and curriculum
  • Participate or lead feedback process for projects

Instructional Design & Development:

  • Develop and apply technical expertise across adult learning theory and design principles (ie. ADDIE, SAM, Agile learning, experiential learning) for all learning and development projects.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and teams in the analysis, design, authoring and production of engaging and effective instructional materials.
  • Develop course materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles.
  • Identify level of impact of training, change level required and incorporate into program/course design

Evaluation & Reporting:

  • Develop and provide recommendations for interface design, sequencing of instruction, use of assessments, and design of course materials and activities.
  • Determine instructional effectiveness of course materials that are developed.
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
  • Conduct training effectiveness surveys, debriefs and where applicable focus groups
  • Maintain measurements to determine trends, improvements and areas in need of focus

Facilitation:

  • Facilitate engaging sessions in alignment with audience level
  • Lead dynamic and engaging learning solutions utilizing program curriculum
  • Ensure curriculum fidelity by facilitating the curriculum as designed, participating in on-going community of practice activities, and developing a mastery of the content
  • Plan and coordinate with co-leaders of workshops to determine best presenters by module and other curriculum needs
  • Maintain accurate learning data, including attendance rosters, evaluations, and other reporting documents
  • Ensure programs stay current with curriculum updates by overseeing Community of Practice, attending training sessions, participating in peer reviews, and providing feedback to Program Managers

Qualifying Experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Requires at least seven (7) years of progressive learning & development and/or talent management experience
  • Experience partnering with the business/HR to design and implement training programs and solutions
  • Experience delivering and measuring the effectiveness of learning programs, solutions and courses inclusive of assessment data
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, guide and coach partners in relation to learning methodologies, frameworks, programs, materials and measurement modalities
  • Experience creating e-learning content using tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, Animation Software and the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Project-management experience in a matrix organization
  • Candidate must be open to working flexible hours to accommodate APAC and EMEA stakeholders
