The job profile for this position is Global Data & Analytics Technical Training Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role. Functional role/title: Global Data & Analytics Learning Experience Consultant.

POSITION SUMMARY

Evernorth's Global Data & Analytics organization is seeking an experienced learning professional to support the learning and development strategy in support of GD&A teams' learning and knowledge sharing needs . This position will report to the Technical Training Senior Manager and work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and learning professionals to establish and maintain standard operating procedures, leverage learning and knowledge management platforms, curate and design learning experiences, and support change management efforts in a dynamic and growing organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Governance

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards and operating procedures for learning solutions, including supporting efforts to ensure solutions and practices are in compliance with enterprise learning standards, GD&A standards, and applicable regulatory and audit requirements
  • In partnership with the Technical Training Senior Manager, own the establishment of knowledge management standards, and the maintenance and application of knowledge management practices and tools

  • Learning Experience Design & Development
  • In partnership with the Technical Training Senior Manager, assess, prioritize, and address skill and knowledge development opportunities impacting performance outcomes across GD&A
  • Collaborate across functional areas on the development and/or selection, curation, and integration of learning pathways and programs
  • Translate identified learning needs into curation and/or design of consumable learning solutions, in partnership with SMEs and other pertinent resources, for a variety of skills from leadership development to technical topics
  • Develop and own the GD&A Subject Matter Expert (SME) learning advisory network for review and selection of technical learning resources
  • Collaborate with learning, business, and human resources/organizational design leaders to define, implement, and report learning success metrics for learning solutions
  • Research, review, and recommend learning programs, materials, and tools.
  • Source and collaborate with learning content and services vendors for customized learning solutions

  • Learning Delivery & Measurement
  • May facilitate learning programs using proven techniques to engage learners and ensure learning retention; examples include GD&A new hire orientation, train-the-trainer sessions for technical subject matter experts involved in peer training, and other learning events as needed
  • Plan the rollout of learning and development activities, partnering with business leaders to ensure proper timing, planning learning operations
  • Determine and execute on a learning analytics strategy, including utilization of measurement and reporting tools in tracking and reporting learning and development activity and progress

  • Leadership
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization, including participating in collaborative learning groups and initiatives throughout the Cigna enterprise, where appropriate
  • Lead assigned learning projects and professionals, either as a project manager or as a cross-functional team/project leader
  • Instruct and coach SMEs and learning team members on effective learning design and delivery methods
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external vendors
  • Manage ambiguity, embracing change and helping others to stay focused on goals while adapting to change and a spirit of continuous improvement
  • Maintain a growth mindset, working to improve skills and competencies by demonstrating initiative to participate in ongoing coaching and training programs

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of learning and development experience, including demonstrated experience leading learning initiatives and project teams
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing learning solutions and events
  • Knowledge of learning science and instructional design methods and principles (ADDIE, Design Thinking)
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), knowledge management systems, and online collaboration platforms (i.e., SharePoint)
  • Strong project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results
  • Strong interviewing and listening skills to gather necessary requirements and content from multiple resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, and with virtual meeting presentation tools (WebEx, Skype)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
  • Change agile - flexible with the ability to prioritize and work under time constraints and meet project deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Experience working as a consultant, internal or external, including influencing without authority to drive results
  • Experience developing and delivering instructional and presentation content using infographics for e-learning/e-communications
  • Proficient in the use of Degreed, SAP SuccessFactors, and Articulate 360
  • Proficient in the use of online survey tools (e.g., Performativ, Verint)
  • Creative thinker with innovative spirit. Ability to look for new and better ways to develop content/perform tasks with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred; Masters or certificate in related field (i.e., Training & Development, Learning & Performance, Instructional/Experience Design) a plus

Desired:

  • Understanding of data and analytics concepts and tools is a plus
  • Experience working with vendors for learning services and solutions
