This position is an important part of the Equifax government relations team working closely with our state and federal lobbyists who represent of our business, priorities and goals. The job includes legislative and regulatory research and information sharing, strategic planning, government relations support work and coordination including administrative support with growth potential in key new opportunities.

What Youll Do

  • You will do legislative bill tracking (state and federal) for anything that impact credit reporting and our customers
  • You will working closely with the legal department sharing relevant information with businesses
  • Researching regulatory and legislative proposals
  • Work on various projects to help the government relations team
  • Political Action Committee (PAC) and lobbying reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in the public sector
  • Understand Google products and Microsoft products
  • Government and/or government relations or public affairs experience
