The Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex supports Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) stakeholders and customers with a wide variety of highly dynamic T&E, training, and program management requirements. The Range mission requires highly-skilled engineers. Systems requiring support include, but are not limited to, aircraft, aerial targets, air combat training equipment, global positioning equipment, air base operability equipment, munitions, missiles, electronics, explosives, bombs, warheads, fuzes, guns, ammunition and AF Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific knowledge and expertise is required in functional and specialized areas such as flight operations (e.g., pilots, navigators); Close Air Support (CAS); DZ / LZ Safety; and subject matter expertise in areas such as aerospace technology, the 1391/3080 process, GPS, datalink / frequency management, and deployable range systems. Specialized engineering fields for portions of the effort include SME level capabilities.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science from an accredited institution and 12 years experience or Masters degree in engineering or science from an accredited institution and 10 years experience.
• Must have an understanding of the specific procedures and processes of DoDI 5000.02, and other USAF regulations.
• Requires demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced by prior management and technical leadership roles.
• Candidate must be able to interface and communicate well with Government customer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and MS Office capability needed. Dedicated to achieving the standards of quality and excellence.
• Must have or be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
