Oversee all business and operational aspects of a designated production area. The Client Service & Operations Manager ensures internal and external clients satisfaction through the management of warehouse and client operations team. The Client Services and Operations Manager helps plan, stall, manage, organize and track the work of the CS and Warehouse associates. The incumbent ensures that the operation runs smoothly and can demonstrate by a sound control posture. The Client Service & Operations Manager consistently delivers high quality service by our day to day operation that includes, but not limited to: price updates, client updates, address updates, reporting, daily calls, RA generation.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Client Services

    • Manage day to day client service /operation

    • In depth understanding of client policy

    • Price updates, policy updates, client updates

    • Manage accurate client information and processing parameters in the system

    • Deliver accurate and timely reporting to clients, ensuring quality standards are practiced

    • Ensure Customer question or open items are answered and addressed

    • Assist with analytic and operational issues

    • Effectively communicates to Sales representatives on account

    • Monitor and tracks client service expectation and trends

    • Lead and develop the CS associates, deal effectively at a business level in a variety of situations

    • Ensure that duties, responsibilities and authority of each CS role is clearly defined, effective and communicated

    • Develop short and long-term goals for associates

    • Identify training needs and effectively actions gaps where required

    • Ensure associates are cross trained for absenteeism

    • Implement continuous improvement, recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies

    • Ensure company principles, policies and programs are consistently practiced

    • Provide technical guidance and training where applicable

    • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks requiring extensive follow up and timely completion

  • Warehouse Operations

    • Manage and supervise the work activities of associates in the designated production area ensuring that all objectives, measurements and targets are achieved.

    • Work with appropriate departments to ensure all supervisory staff and associates acquire proper on the job and health & safety training.

    • Able to shift priorities to adjust to changing business demands.

    • Communicate in a professional manner with internal departments, outside vendors, and clients.

    • Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures in the designated production area.

    • Provide a safe, secure work environment in the designated production area.

    • Monitor, report, and work to prevent losses in the facility.

    • Approve time worked and performance reviews for all associates in the designated production area.

    • Project staffing needs and participate in the interviewing and hiring process.

    • Assure responsiveness to subordinate associates needs.

    • Ensure facility compliance (daily & monthly inspections) of corrective action procedures.

    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all SOPs pertaining to facility and operations.

    • Conduct regular scheduled staff meetings with associates.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Management with three (3) years managerial and supervisory experience in the grocery, logistics, or warehouse industry; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fulfill the job responsibilities.

  • Working knowledge of computer software programs, such as Excel and Word in a Windows environment as well as prior experience with some form of warehouse automation or management software.

  • Ability to transport Hazardous Waste, sign Hazardous Waste manifests, and serve the facility as Emergency Coordinator.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • The position requires the ability to work under time pressure.

  • Regularly required to view items at an extremely close range and must be able to adjust and readjust focus.
