The Launch Project Manager provides project management leadership and support to cross functional teams responsible for executing supply chain activities in support of new product and global expansion launches for all Alnylam commercial products. As Project Manager, you will have primary responsibility for collaborating with expertise area representatives to establish and manage project schedules for all supply chain product launches, work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, and be the primary liaison to senior management on the status of ongoing launches. In this role, you should be able to adapt quickly in a highly dynamic environment and apply your experience to effectively oversee/manage multiple projects within the specified time frames.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project plans and timelines for the completion of all activities required to launch Alnylam products in new markets around the world
  • Drive timely decisions and facilitate active communication and information flow between team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners
  • Schedule and run cross functional team meetings to manage execution of project plan, including authoring of minutes, assignment of action items and tracking of performance metrics
  • Facilitate the process for evaluation of alternative actions to operationally deliver plan. Influence and drive development of solutions, criteria, and implications.
  • Collaborate with team leads and expertise areas (Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Materials Management, Global Expansion, Commercial) to establish and define country launch requirements, develop project plans, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for the Technical Operations Organization.
  • Support the management oversight of internal and external technical requirements with partners, CMOs, and 3PLs to ensure project success and that contractual obligations and deliverables are met
  • Prepare and present project status reports and metrics to Program Teams and Management
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with key business leaders

Qualifications

  • 3-5 Years' experience in Project Management
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams required
  • Strong communication/presentation skills - ability to distill complex issues for business and technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, audience-appropriate manner
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to take on new projects and quickly learn new country launch requirements
  • Exceptional planning and organizing skills to plan and manage resources against timelines and commitments; must excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence partners towards an appropriate path forward.
  • Ability to provide prompt, effective communications and follow-up to project stakeholders
