This is an exciting opportunity to join the communications team supporting Prudentials Law, Compliance & Business Ethics function. The team creates and implements an overall communications strategy that informs, connects and engages employees globally; as well as positions senior leaders as thought leaders in the industry. This role reports to the Director of Communications on this team, whom will serve as a key partner in developing communications plans to support internal and external communications related to organizational changes, business transformation initiatives, global employee campaigns and meetings.





Responsibilities Include:





  • Lead workstream that provides full suite of communications planning around strengthening Prudentials ethical culture

  • Supports team in developing editorial content written and video for the intranet, email blasts and internal event promotion

  • Write and edit talking points, video scripts, announcements and other communications for the intranet or social platforms such as MS TEAMS

  • Partner with peers across global communications, HR, Chief of Staff and other functions to leverage communication properties that can reinforce key messages

  • Supports team in enhancing consistent and coordinated communication planning across all three areas of the function (law, compliance and business ethics)







  • At least five years of experience in creating communications plans for complementary or related functions and equipped with readily transferable skills.

  • Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field

  • Ability to prioritize and operate in a very fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a client-oriented mindset that can deliver outcomes to add value and support key partners.

  • Skilled at influencing others and working collaboratively across diverse teams with multiple objectives

  • Financial Services or Legal experience is a plus

  • A combination of agency and corporate experience is a plus



Skills





  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, web layout and design skills

  • Executive communications experience (e.g., media relations, conferences)

  • Event management experience

  • Proficient in developing communications plans and applying strong project management skills to execute them

  • A wide degree of creativity and knowledge of engagement techniques for internal and external audiences

  • Proactive, self-motivated and collaborative leader with exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Confident and poised interacting with senior leaders

  • Intellectual curiosity and business acumen

  • Ability to manage-up
