For our department, KION Mobile Automation, which is the worldwide KION automation sector, we are looking forGlobal Product Requirement Management team.The Global Product Requirement Management team operates within the field of mobile automation and is responsible for evaluating, structuring and challenging Products & Solutions within the KION Mobile Automation group ensuring a compelling as well as competitive global product & solution portfolio. The team compiles this in close alignment with KIONs Operating Units and through conducting technology scouting to evaluate maturity of upcoming technologies, ensuring technology leadership. A global competition intelligence guide will allow benchmarks based on own and competition product & solution offerings. All these processes will consequently lead to a Global KION Mobile Automation Product & Solution Portfolio with regional execution roadmaps. To further support KIONs Operating Units the Global Product Requirement Management team provides product documentations, innovative sales tools and dedicated AGV/AMR Product, Solution & Sales trainings enabling dedicated OU growth plans. The department is working truly global with resources in all continents, meaning an international & intercultural exchange is given. The working environment is open, honest and agile. Responsibilities

As manager for Product sales support, you report into the Global manager of this team and are responsible for local/regional support of KION organizations working within the mobile automation domain. Their internal customers (Operating Units or OUs) mainly act within the Northern American market, and it will be your role to support their sales and sales support organizations, for KION Mobile Automation products and solutions defined within our group. Our team developed a strategy to support OUs through communication and facilitation of interaction, marketing and support materials for internal & external use, sales & sales support tools and training. You will have a crucial role to support and roll out this approach in a local structure and will align closely with colleagues in the same and other global regions. Aside this local responsibility, you take a global lead in development of sales and sales support tools for the Mobile Automation Product Sales Support team.





Responsibilities:



-Coach KIONs Operating Units Sales and Product management showing strong intercultural leadership and willingness to do (international) travel (30%)



-Cross-site support of Product Support Teams as part of the KION Mobile Automation Requirement Management Team



-Provides input to OU Product Management and Sales Teams, provide feedback to conduct education and training programs to grow product sales



-Develop detailed knowledge of best-in-class sales and market growth strategies and assist channel partners in implementing such programs to grow sales and relationships



-Analyze sales trends and work with OU Sales Management to develop and execute a sales plan coordinating effort in line with field sales



-Assists the OU Sales Team with respect to strategic accounts as well as Field Sales Team in the resolution of customer disputes



-Support and coach OU Product Management Team to develop sales brochures, web sites and advertising, develop, manage/oversee production through shared services



-Collaborate daily with KION Mobile Automation Product Development teams to ensure product requirements are clearly defined and properly phased to facilitate rapid delivery of new functionalities



-Remove roadblocks across the organization to mitigate risks and increase release velocity



-Creating sustainable product synergies within the KION Group to reduce costs and time to market with respect to competitor intelligence



-Be active at customer and Operating Unit events to build a strong understanding of the customers needs and build strong relationships



Qualifications

-Master degree with a technical focus preferred.



-Fluent in English (additional languages such as German or Chinese are desirable)



-Leadership responsibility within cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams of a global matrix organization



-High ability to think and act entrepreneurially considering risk and opportunity analysis to compile decision proposals



-At least three years of relevant management experience with a distinct technical focus, preferably within Mobile Automation and Automated Material Handling Solutions



-Experienced within global project business and execution



-Experienced in sales and sales support tools development and requirement analyses



-Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, such as communication and analytical skills and the ability to lead a global high performing team



-Willingness to travel within clearly defined limits and go the extra mile to anticipate, understand and respond to customers needs
