What will I be doing:

Do you have strong negotiation and client management skills? As the Manager, Hilton Supply Management you will put these very skills to use in this stakeholder-facing opportunity! You will not only have a heavy focus on building and maintaining key relationships and partnerships across the Technology organization, but also will take a life-cycle approach to establish, handle, and implement contracts with a variety of services suppliers.

In addition, you will:

  • Develop Statements of Work or Scopes of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Work with key partners and Legal to develop contracts on any exceptions to standard contract language Lead contractual negotiations and coordinate contract administration.
  • Provide vision and critical planning for short- and long-term goals.
  • Conduct spend and market analysis to resolve areas of opportunity for future projects.
  • Streamline and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional groups to get results in complicated projects.
  • Analyze bids using in-depth financial analysis, document the cost-effectiveness analysis, and award the bids accordingly
  • Communicate the announcement of the successful bid and send confirmation letters to the companies that were not selected; incorporate the supplier contract information into a cross-referenced database

  • Experience with Value Added Reseller (VARs) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationships and technology indirect and direct supplier agreements/ contracts.

  • Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional partners and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities
  • Highly organized to balance multiple work streams and numerous projects
  • Outstanding presentation skills and written and spoken communications
  • Discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • Decision-makers, who exercise good judgment, consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and provide recommendations for efficient solutions.
  • Communicators, who will positively influence Hilton's partners, both verbally and in writing, with excellent comprehension skills and to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Conscientious self-starters, who take initiative, meet tight deadlines, operate with a cool head under time constraints, effectively balance concurrent demands, and prioritize responsibilities; Collaboration skills to build positive relationships and trust.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
  • Three (3) years working in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, contract negotiations, or P&L management
  • Direct experience with the Technology specific to category contracts for Software, SaaS, Hardware, Telecommunications, and/or Cloud agreements
  • Sound knowledge of legal terminologies involved in Master Agreements and Technology SOWs
  • Understanding of and working knowledge of eProcurement tools, such as Coupa or similar

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Five (5) years of experience in Technology, or Hospitality supply chain management and contract negotiations
  • CPSM, CPM, or CHA certification

*This position can be located in McLean, VA; Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN or be Remote, except for within the state of Colorado.
