Standard Forged Products LLC is searching for a Safety focused Manual Lathe Operator in our McKees Rocks, PA facility. Standard Forged Products LLC, a subsidiary of Arcosa Industries, has more than 100 years of experience in supplying Americas leading railcar companies with railcar axles in addition to producing market leading quality industrial forgings.

As a Manual Lathe Operator, you will work with a great group of people who really care about the job you do. Job duties will include the following:

• Sets up and operates vertical lathes do produce steel products.


• Making final product requires specialized skill/knowledge of machine and process.


• Verifies dimensional requirements, unloads and may transfer materials using overhead cranes/forklift.


• Works with unconventional types of materials.


• Maintains and makes minor repairs to equipment.


• Follows all safety rules and practices.


• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.


• Performs other duties as assigned.


• Proficient at shop math, reading specifications and measurements
