SmartCOP is seeking a Marketing Intern that will be responsible for providing support for the sales department.
As the Marketing Intern you will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and assist with all business needs related to marketing and sales support with an emphasis on outbound marketing communications.
This is a short fixed term position.
What your impact will be:
Assist with content writing for the website, social media and sales and marketing collateral
Assist with website updates via Wordpress
Assist with Press Release creation and distribution
Order various materials for sales and marketing; collateral, posters, business cards, etc.
Assist with event planning for tradeshows and other key events
Collaborate with sales to create new ideas for campaigns to support lead generation efforts
Conduct Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
Organize all print media for easy access and sales use
Other projects as assigned
What we are looking for:
University students majoring in advertising, marketing communications, or similar field
Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus!
Writing and proofing skills are also required.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
Organized, dependable and detail oriented
