Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Housing Manager and team in achieving statewide & regional program goals & objectives for housing and homelessness activities and supports housing and homelessness grants and activities.
- Independently responsible for the design,development, implementation and scheduling of all Housing trainings, quarterly meetings & webinars (e.g., training topics, materials & manuals, presenters, create online registration, agendas, promotional materials, training calendar, evaluations, continuing education applications).
- Identify & develop competency and skills for training interactions and provide technical assistance to participants and trainers
- Create and maintain Housing training webpage
- Develops & maintain Housing list serve and act as point of contact with statewide Housing organizations for training opportunities
- Facilitate customer service to community behavioral health boards, community behavioral health providers, constituents, and trainers
- Write, develop & implement housinginitiatives & assist in policy development
- Maintain housing training budget and perform various functions related to office grants management.
- Prepares and delivers speeches & presentations (e.g., community providers &/or operators, state & federal agencies, associations & staff).
Position requires travel.
Completion of undergraduate core program in mental health, social work or comparable field (e.g. child & family community services, special education, social or behavioral sciences); 12 mos. trg. in employee training & development (e.g. provides work direction & training); 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in state &/or federal regulations & standards governing care, custody & programming of mental health consumers/residents.
-Or completion of associates core program in mental health, social work or comparable field (e.g. child & family community services, special education, social or behavioral sciences); 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in state &/or federal regulations & standards governing care, custody & programming of mental health consumers/residents; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in mental health programmatic project management.
-Or 4 yrs. administrative exp. commensurate with mental health program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file.
-Or 6 mos. exp. as Mental Health Administrator 1, 65221.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
