As a Sr Branch Manager within PNC's Mobile Branch organization, you will be based in Duluth, GA.

PNCs mobile branches provide convenient access to banking services in the communities we serve. Mobile branches function as a "branch on wheels" to extend essential banking services into low and moderate-income communities. The Mobile Team provides financial education to support economic empowerment and lifelong learning through this more personalized mobile-branch approach. This is a highly collaborative role that works with business partners to support the financial needs of our clients.

Job Description

  • Manages priorities through planning and execution to drive all aspects of branch performance. Drives revenue and customer loyalty through consultative interactions with clients, and solutions that help them achieve financial well being. Creates a differentiated customer experience, making banking easy in an omni channel environment. Leads and influences the agenda of a broad range of eco-system partners. Accountable for risk management and compliance in a complex business environment.
  • Leads, plans and executes a branded sales process to achieve sales targets and customer loyalty. Grows branch revenue through the acquisition and share-of-wallet growth of consumer and business households and by effectively leading eco-system partnerships . Drives business banking results primarily through business development and community involvement activities. Coaches to consultative selling to drive results and enable customer financial well-being. Has foundational understanding of balance sheet and income statement.
  • Leads, coaches and ensures the delivery of a differentiated client experience. Coaches team to confidently engage with customers in technology enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice oriented consultation that improves client financial well-being. Leads effective problem resolution, making banking easy for customers. Connects all of PNC, delivering a seamless customer experience in an omni channel environment.
  • Drives the employee experience. Responsible for acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding, coaching and development . Makes talent development a priority. Ensures employees achieve performance and activity expectations through effective and ongoing performance management. Models PNC values by cultivating and supporting an inclusive workplace.
  • Manages operational, human capital, reputational and business risk. Exercises leadership, authority and sound decision making to mitigate sales practice risk. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Selling at non-PNC locations requires: Access to a reliable vehicle transportation for travel to multiple work locations on a daily basis; and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (inclusive of, but not limited to, marketing materials, collateral and/or other promotional items as required).
  • Ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiners Certificate in accordance with state and federal requirements.
  • Must have a current/up to date Drivers License issued by the state where you will be working/driving, along with a clean driving record.

Competencies

Branch Banking Services Knowledge of the responsibilities, issues, regulations, business practices, and operations of retail banking branches; ability to provide qualified services to customers.

Delegation Ability to empower and motivate associates to take over tasks and responsibilities to accomplish results for which the manager maintains ultimate accountability.

Digital Awareness Shares, shows and supports clients on a variety of technological digital and online tools and resources allowing them to explore solutions to achieve their financial goals and financial well-being through the PNC conversation.

Effective Communications Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Sales Management Develops sales strategies that incorporate client segments, market opportunities, competitive forces and sales force effectiveness. Identifies priorities and ensures sales teams execute against plans that focus on deepening client relationships, elevating market share and increasing share of wallet. Drives sales teams to build a strong pipeline of prospects and clients.

Work Experience


Roles at this level typically do not require a university / college degree, but do require related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically 5+ years of related experience, and at least 2 years of previous supervisory experience is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations. Ability to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) in excess of 10,001 pounds but less than 26,001. Obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiners Certificate in accordance with state and federal requirements. Must have a current/up to date Drivers License issued by the state where you will be working/driving, along with a clean driving record.
