Job Description

  • Supports the BioLife Plasma Centers, BioLife Headquarters and Training Departments in the achievement of BioLife training initiatives; while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Supports the development, design, coordination, and deployment of training and development initiatives.
  • Collaborates and supports center trainers through various training methods (facilitation, eLearning creation, metrics, BTTP).
  • Responsible for ensuring initiatives meet/exceed key customer requirements through appropriate evaluation systems and analysis of metrics.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. Include only the essential functions of the job. Approximately 5 10 bulleted task statements should be identified).

  • Revisions to BTTP documents according to feedback and SOP revisions. (10%)
  • Coordinate, develop, improve and facilitate onthe-job and instructor led training at BioLife University. (20%)
  • Analyzes trends and reviews quality data to determine opportunities and create action plans for continuous improvement. Manages corrective action initiatives to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. (5%)
  • Fosters teamwork. Works collaboratively with staff, peers, and cross functional management to achieve business goals. Collaborates with Medical Affairs on a consistent basis to ensure effectiveness of MSS training program and to drive program improvements. Communicates regularly to all levels of the organization and resolves challenges proactively. (5%)
  • Assist in the implementation and analysis of training and development programs (e.g. scorecards, tracking of development plans, monitoring progress of existing systems, etc.). (10%)
  • Provide support and coaching to center Medical Supervisors preceptors. (10%)
  • May support PDT and BioLife employees with training plans and curricula assignment. (5%)
  • Develop, support, and update training materials including but not limited to eLearnings, job aids, video, and podcasts. (20%)
  • Assist in setting up evaluation systems to assess and monitor the effectiveness of developmental initiatives. (10%)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to center network, manager and senior leadership. (5%)

  • Working knowledge of MS Office package (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to travel domestically no more than 25% of the time.
  • May require extended work periods to meet deadlines and business needs
  • Must be able to work in an office setting
  • Observing in a plasma environment may be required

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: (List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job. Any minimum requirements should be noted.)

  • Essential: State medical licenses & CPR/AED certification required. 2+ years production experience in a regulated environment. Prior experience in plasma center operations, LMS system, and Veeva system.
  • Desired: Bacholers Degree. Prior experience in a training role.
