Operations Project Manager

**Job Description:**
Manages medium-large Financial Solutions projects and/ or leads a segment of large, complex projects for Corporate Accounts Payable. Responsibilities include creating and modifying Functional Specifications. Manages the research of existing operations, procedures, accounting transactions, workflow, product and service requirements. Directs the analysis of assembled data to define problems associated with project scope and help determine the appropriate financial system solution. Directs project parameters, cost and resource estimates. Works closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank's financial solutions and associated operations. Responsible for representing the Corporate Accounts Payable operational units including Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, Post-Payment Activities,, Client Service and Sales/Use Tax areas. Represents these broad operational interests and coordinates activities and processes within CAP segments.
**Required Skills:**
Bachelor's degree or 4-6 years of financial service operations experience preferred
3+ years project and/or consulting experience
Excellent analytical/organizational/communication/desktop/excel skills
Prior Testing experience
A successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, able to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Candidate must be flexible, be able to work under tight deadlines, constructively handle stress, and be focused on process improvement
Presentation skills to exhibit ideas or solutions clearly and concisely to both small & large audiences
Project Management experience; both Waterfall and Agile methodology"
**Desired Experience:**
Working knowledge of Accounts Payable SAP and Oracle
Prior Transition or major business unit transformation experience"
