This is an entry level position responsible for providing a broad range of operational support activities for local or regional Pike operations. This position is critical to ensure the day to day office operations are organized and functional. Strong organization skills and communications skills are critical to the successful performance of this role. Typically, the individual will report to a supervisor or manager in a Pike office.


Under supervision the individual in this role is expected to:

Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, and copying. May serve as the receptionist for the Pike facility.

Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails as directed

Meet established deadlines and deliver requested information in a timely manner

Support company and client sponsored events by organizing and scheduling catering, facilities, restaurants, or other vendors as necessary.

Coordinate materials for meetings and training sessions and other activities of the organization

Maintain a variety of general administrative reports and databases including fleet, phone lists and PPE assignment

Cost-effectively monitor and order office/kitchen supplies as required

Research for products and services as required for office

Assist with new employee on-boarding process

Handle travel arrangements as required

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

COMPLEXITY OF WORK:Semi-routine; majority of work covered by established procedures.

RELATIONSHIP OUTSIDE WORK GROUP:Exchange of information, which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy.

  • Required High school degree or GED.

  • Preferred Associates degree (AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school).

  1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operational procedures, etc.

  2. Ability to write simple correspondence.


  1. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret spread sheets


A. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

B. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.


  • Required computer skills and knowledge of relevant software

  • Required knowledge of operation of standard office equipment

  • Required knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
