Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Plant Master Data Analyst in our Huntington, Indiana location. Do you have a strong attention to detail and follow-through skills with the ability to work independently and make crucial decisions?

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems and maintain the processes to support data quality.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce operational expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Develop analytical Simulation and Optimization models that incorporate business defined rules and constraints to support scenario modeling.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain Design/Engineering:
  • Metrics for measurement, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost/quality.
  • Plant warehousing architecture strategies for FGs and components using ABC/FMR tool.
  • Strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, or warehousing.
  • Engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
  • Liaison with various levels of management, end users, and design & build to evaluate and manage new business requirements.
  • Engage broadly within the organization to frame, structure and prioritize supply chain focused projects where analytics development or tools can have the largest impact on Gap's end-to-end supply chain.
  • Support manufacturing operations to effectively solve issues and drive continuous improvement aligned with Schneider Performance System

This job might be for you if:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business
  • Certifications - CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) and/or CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) or APICS certification.
  • SAP proficient
  • Experience with report writing database tools (MS Excel, Access, Tableau)
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing, Kinaxis and V-fast (vendor forecasting) would be a plus
