Responsibilities

The Predictive Modeling Analyst conducts logical analysis of management problems and developing multivariate analysis, linear modeling, and data mining in support of the systems engineering of a space/ground system. The analyst integrates modeling, simulation, analysis, and test data to predict and assess reliability, maintainability, and availability inputs from multiple developers. Specific responsibilities include:
- Generation of system digital twins and performance models.
- Analyzing, reporting and technical recommendations for system technical performance measures.
- Conduct studies and analysis projects in support of the system's mission and deliver the resulting engineering trade study reports, on aspects including reducing life-cycle costs, improving the system's performance/capability, availability, and maintainability; replacing obsolete or unsupportable equipment, and evaluating the potential impact from other activities.
- Analyze data and conduct advanced statistical analyses and apply mathematical calculations.
- Presents findings and recommendations to determine to develop course of actions and risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare written, non-technical reports to management, indicating analytical finding and models.
- Guide predictive analytics model development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to successfully implement a project, develop project plans incorporating all project variables.
- Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design, and costs.
- Perform re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project and prepare routine status reports on all project activities.


Qualifications

- Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.

- Recent experience on DoD/IC space programs
- Experience with MATLAB, STK, AvSIM and other COTS tools
- Fluent in AFSIM modeling environment (desired)

Salary Minimum: $79,040.00 Salary Maximum:$168,958.40 The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Perspecta salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
