Job Description
10+ years of experience working in IT domain with extensive IT Systems Analysis and Application Management experience
- 10+ years of experience with Databases (Oracle/SQL Server), ETL (SSIS/Informatica), and BI (PowerBI, Tableau) platforms
- 1-3 years of Experience with Vermeg/AxiomSL products with focus on Liquidity Stress Testing FR 2052a and CCAR (14M/Q/A)
- 5+ years of banking experience in the corporate Finance and Treasury LOBs
- 5+ years of experience in the design and development of enterprise initiatives in support of the CFO business units
- 5+ years with Agile development with Scrum, SAFe, and or Kanban methodologies
- Provide analytical support as it relates to understanding the Applications Upstream/Downstream Interfaces, Data Flows, Data Modeling and Management with SQL
- Experience with at least one of the major regulatory reporting platforms/tools such as Axiom Controller View, Lombard Risk, STB Reporter or BearingPoint
- Problem solver who value input from various experiences, seek out information to keep the team on track and voice opinions on the most effective way forward
- Liaise with business owners to understand and document business, functional and data requirements and help prepare SVB's regulatory reports in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Consult with project stakeholders to manage and conduct the initial assessment, analyze, define, challenge and prioritize the change requests/tasks for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program and recommend business solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs for SVB's Finance IT systems and processes
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements by understanding upstream/feeder applications and data, and develop systems specifications
- Demonstrates "make it happen" and "find a way" attitude - Ability to construct presentations and communications in a logical manner, sensitive to diverse audience's needs
- Experience with enterprise integration services/solutions - Experience in implementing of SaaS applications
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for presentation to the business
- Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks, initiate and conduct meetings with team and peers
- Proven track record in building, sustaining and navigating stakeholder relationships in and outside the organization
- Actively participate in automation efforts to enhance the regulatory reporting process and advance business processes and systems analysis, and research and problem solve to define innovative technology solutions.
