General Description:

Responsible for ALI's Production Department at the Building 20 Location.

Direct reports are:

Building 20 Area Supervisors and Office/Shipping personnel

Interacts with Associate Director of Production, Senior Management, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, Supervisors and personnel.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all manufacturing/production operations, including scheduling, training, hiring/disciplinary action, shipping/ receiving, planning, equipment, inventory (raw materials and finished goods)
• SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and MI (Manufacturing Instructions) implementation, updates and approvals
• Deviation and CAPA (corrective action / preventative action) implementation
• Ensure continuous improvements, cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practice) and Safety regulations are followed
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Production or Vice President of Production

1. Experience with Production/Manufacturing processes
2. Experience with US-FDA Q7A, USDA and cGMP requirements
3. Experience with computer programs (Microsoft and others)

• Bachelor's Degree or, Associate degree and three year experience in cGMP facility or,
• Three years supervisory experience with a total of ten years of experience in a cGMP facility
