Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS) is a leader in remote patient monitoring and telehealth. We help healthcare providers and patients stay connected outside of routine clinical and acute medical visits by enabling patients to send timely and objective personal health data from the comfort of their home, helping healthcare providers identify early risk indicators and intervene as needed. We are looking for a passionate leader to help in the development of systems, clinical programs and customer experience design for MCMS. This role ensures clinical integrity of our product design from concept to while incorporating clinical informatics and user experience design principles. You will use your clinical experience and leadership to drive creativity, compassion and customer experience focus into product and program planning for Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS). You will use your customer experience skills to direct the development of provider and patient requirements and work with R&D to deliver positive customer impact and easy-to-use products that are integrated into our customers lives to enable better outcomes.

A Day in the Life

Clinical Leadership:

  • Serve as a clinical voice for the development of new solutions

  • Provide clinical insight for customer needs and negotiations

  • Inform clinical quality reviews and determinations

    Voice of Customer:

  • Actively solicit and represent (leading and contributing) the voice of the customer (user: patients and providers) to translate into our key offerings and product enhancements that are both differentiated by their ease-of-use and valued in the market

  • Meet with customers, geographic partners and field sales to develop and inform the pipeline of potential opportunities

  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key customers

    Product and Services Development:

  • Drive customer insight and develop functional requirements through user-centered design principles to shape and influence the development of the product and services pipeline, including product upgrades as well as fully new market offerings

  • Incorporate clinical informatics design and best practice principles

  • Design interfaces for storing and analyzing health information

  • Develop clinical program design strategies and best practices

  • Actively work with the technology and innovation team to ensure customer and user needs are prioritized and represented in concepts and development

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, life science, or health science

  • At least 7 years of experience (5 years with Masters) in healthcare

  • Experience with product development or clinical program design

  • Project management and cross functional experience

    Nice to Have:

  • Master's Degree

  • Nursing or Clinical Informatics Certification

  • Technical aptitude, specifically in clinical software and solution development

  • Experience interfacing with customers, physicians, internal staff and executive business leadership

  • Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing salesforce
