Who we want (Requirements)

The successful candidate will have associates degree and two (2) years of experience in accounting/construction controls, or the equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, Power Point, software and e-mail. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in the Lexington office.

What we expect (Essential Functions)

  • Assign and set-up construction project numbers and appropriate cost codes, with communication to appropriate team members
  • Audit monthly project financials against submitted for internal control purposes
  • Report monthly on proposal costs.
  • Assign / vet requests for cost codes.
  • Prepare projects for close-out including review of commitments, cost, and contract values
  • Enter subcontractor feedback from Project Teams into PreQual, our pre-approval qualification system for
  • Provide support for job cost audits and project-specific cost reporting requirements
  • Manage post-project grading system of subcontractors by working with various members of project teams
  • Assists Director with continuous improvement special projects as needed
  • Manage and track Cases related to CMIC/GrayConnect, our accounting software
