Position Summary (Overall purpose and objective of the position):

The PMO Manager will manage a team of PMO that will support the Project Management teams in assuring projects meet organizational goals and requirements according to standardized processes. This role should be involved in all projects and support all PMOs while doing it. The PMO manager should enforce all the unit processes around tracking and reporting on progress, team allocations, contract service level agreements, and financials. This position requires experience in managing new and growing team with different cultures, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and must be proficient with all MS Office applications.


  • Manage Project PMO team that will include offshore and onshore team
  • Communication with other PMO managers and leads
  • Communication with project managers, program directors and upper management
  • Establish work programs to assist the project managers, while tracking tasks, schedules, dependencies, risks and costs
  • Direct and monitor the requirements and progress of various implementation projects
  • Data collection and tracking the progress of projects, presenting the project status/dashboard for the management of the organization. This includes monthly Steering Meeting content for presentation with clients
  • the PMO is responsible for tracking / monitoring project timeline and resource allocation.
  • Preparations of financial forecasts and plan vs actuals
  • Coordination with Financial Team in analyzing Project P&L
  • Prepare and distribute month end closure reports including invoicing
  • Promote efficiency, cost saving and improvement to processes
  • Responsible for identifying needs and allocating the appropriate resources in order to meet project deadlines
  • Participate in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes; prepares and administers work unit operating budget; provides recommendations on policies and goals desired; and implements new/revised programs according to established guidelines
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports based on plans, raw data (Defects DB etc.) and resourcing, capacity planning and utilization and work progress
  • Assist in the creation of SOW
  • Assist in the creation of pricing for new projects

Job Requirements, Education/Certification/License/Training:

  • 6- 8 years' experience in PMO or project management activities such as planning, control or budget tracking
  • Experience in create, manage and grow a team - Must
  • Communication skill with upper management - Must
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, organizing skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Previous involvement with the creation of work plans, project scopes and capacity planning - a plus
  • Personal skills: independent worker, thinks outside the box, presentable, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities
  • Strong knowledge about Software project life cycle - MUST
  • Experience with MS project and strong excel skill - MUST
  • Jira and Sciforma knowledge - a plus
  • PMP certificate - Advantage
  • knowledge in Insurance - Advantage
