Job Summary:

To provide support and assistance to Compounding by handling cleanup of totes, barrels, buckets, hoses and pumps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect, barrels, drums, and hoses using water, disinfectants, sanitizers, and neutralizing agents.
• Perform tank to tank transfers making space available for further production.
• Return empty barrels to trucks manually for removal.
• Keep batching area clean and free of spills using mops, water hoses, brooms, etc.
• Provide other assistance to lab and batching department.

• Communicate effectively with others.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Perform work onsite.

Additional Expectation: Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• High School or equivalent.
• Intermediate math skills including division, multiplication, fractions and percentages.
• Ability to use simple tools and reason out basic mechanical and physical problems.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to comprehend OSHA and safety regulations; MSDS forms; FDA regulations and GMP compliance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English competently.

Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities:

• Forklift license or training, First Aid training, Hazardous Material training.
• Prior knowledge of OSHA, MSDS and GMP requirements.

Environmental Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment-some temperature extremes, dust, noise, and wet.
