Our Role:

The success of QMA is a function of several factors, including the firms leading-edge quantitative portfolio management capabilities.The portfolio management team is responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction research with direct accountability for portfolio performance.

We are looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to with work with the Quantitative Equity Portfolio Management Team. The candidate should have strong technical skills, a passion for investments, and the ability to work both independently and part of a team

Your Impact:

  • Assist Portfolio Managers with implementation and execution of all dimensions of the investment process, including cashflow management, portfolio optimization, corporate actions, proxy voting
  • Provide analytic and programming support for portfolio management and investment-related research
  • Provide analytic support for client-related presentations and research
  • Develop and maintain performance attribution reports for investment portfolios. Assist in the development of written pieces explaining relative performance to clients
  • Develop and maintain risk management reports for portfolio management
  • Contribute portfolio construction research and participate in QMA research seminars
  • Participate in internal and external investment meetings

Your Required Skills:

  • A Masters in finance, Economics or related field or an MBA
  • Strong evidence of outstanding academic achievement, and strong foundation in investments, economics, and statistics.
  • One to three years work experience in a related field
  • Programing skills, with a preference for Python
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail is required

Your Desired Skills:

  • CFA designation, or interest in pursuing is desired
  • Experience with Bloomberg or Factset is a plus
