This position is responsible for management of quality and regulatory projects and initiatives on a global level with Zimmer Biomet divisions and sites. This will include business case evaluation, management of projects charters which include creating clear and attainable project objectives, scope creation, budget analysis, resource requirements, detailed timelines, and risk assessments at the project level. Additionally, this position provides the Global organization the QMS support/expertise in the all areas of the QMS that will enable the business to identify, develop and commercialize quality products.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities



Global Subject Matter Expert responsible for providing training and mentoring in regards to Globally driven processes, such as Global Document Process and Standards and Regulations Assessment process and reports progress to leadership teams. Serves as the Global QMS Quality liaison between Regulatory and Global Document Control for the Standards and Regulations Assessment Process. Global QMS Project Manager for project related to all aspects of the Global Quality Management System by leading cross-functional Global process improvement projects by establishing and managing project team/core team, detailed project schedule, deliverables, meeting location and frequency, reporting, and financial tracking. Develop project charter and objectives with project sponsor and core team members and present to Stakeholders for approval. Some project might require to develop and present a business case in order to secure the needed funding (CAPEX, Innovate & Improve) Evaluate and explore automation solution for project activities and repeating projects and reporting (e.g. within SharePoint or EtQ) Organization and facilitation of regional and global quality events including managing agenda, presentation material, facilitate workshops and capture and track identified actions to closure Leads selected core teams as directed by the business VP.



Expected Areas of Competence



Expert understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Expert knowledge of industry practices. Broad knowledge of methodologies and tools: Project Management, Commercialization tasks FOCUS (Phase Gate Development), Risk Management, Operational Excellence, Managing by influence with listening & leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor the implementation of NPD process improvements through cross-functional teams by listening and utilizing influence skills. (leadership) Able to take action in solving problems and making decisions while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues, able to use reason, even when dealing with emotional topics. (decision-making &problem solving) Must possess an established track record of sound cross-functional actions and decisions impacting the business process and company results.(action oriented) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written) in a clear and concise manner. Able to clearly present information through the spoken work; influence or persuade others through oral presentations in positive and negative circumstances, listens well. Must be able emit a level of confidence and expertise to effectively train other employees (up, down and across the organization) at multiple sites in a broad range of topics.(communication) Ability to establish relationships quickly with a broad range of constituents. Must possess a collaborative style to work effectively throughout the organization. Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives. Education/Experience Requirements



Bachelor degree in an analytical field or related science required 6-8 years experience in medical device field required Experience working in a medical device regulated environment Experience working in a matrix organization. Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) is preferred.



Travel Requirements



Up to 20%
